Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the limited crime series “Florida Man” set in the infamous American state as things quickly go south for one man just trying to pay off a debt to some nefarious people and move on with his life.

A wild odyssey into a sunny place for shady people, Ramirez plays a struggling ex-cop forced to return to his home state to find the runaway girlfriend of a Philadelphia mobster.

What should be a quick gig soon spirals into a journey of buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong.

Anthony LaPaglia, Abbey Lee, Otmara Marrero, Lex Scott Davis, and Emory Cohen, Clark Gregg, Isaiah Johnson, Paul Schneider, and Lauren Buglioli co-star.

The project hails from creator Donald Todd (“This Is Us”) who serves as showrunner and co-executive produces with Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Miguel Arteta.

Ramírez was most recently seen in “Jungle Cruise” and “The 355” and will appear later this year in the film adaptation of the “Borderlands” video game franchise.

The seven episode series has its debut on Netflix on April 13th.
