TV News: Skeleton, Industry, Us, Boys, Clone

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
Jake Schreier (“Marvel’s Thunderbolts,” “Beef”) is the latest director to join “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” following the reveal of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, along with David Lowrey, having helmed episodes of the “Star Wars” series. Industry
BBC and HBO has officially renewed their finance drama “Industry” for a third season and have announced that “Game of Thrones” alum Kit Harington is joining the series. Filming on the new season begins this month in the UK.

Harington will be playing Henry Muck, the CEO and founder of green tech energy company Lumi which is about to undergo a splashy IPO. The series offers an insider’s view of the world of high finance and follows a group of young bankers as they forge their identities at international bank Pierpoint & Co’s London office. The Last of Us
Despite her character’s fate, Melanie Lynskey says she’d be up to return to HBO’s “The Last of Us” series following her appearances across the show’s fourth and fifth episodes. Lynskey played the ruthless resistance group leader Kathleen.

Lynskey tells Variety: “If they wanted to go back and do an origin story, I would be there for it. The story of how this woman got into this crazy position would be really interesting.”

The Boys: Gen V
During his recent appearance at the Creation New Orleans expo, former “Supernatural” alum Jensen Ackles has confirmed he will be reprising his fan-favorite role as Soldier Boy in Amazon’s upcoming “The Boys” spin-off series “Gen V”. The show follows superhero characters at college. [Source: EW]

Clone High
HBO Max has released the first teaser for “Clone High,” the revival of the classic animated series from Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Bill Lawrence. The original show ran for one season and follows a high school comprised of clones of the biggest names in world history.

Lord & Miller lend their voices to the show alongside Will Forte, Nicole Sullivan, Christa Miller, Donald Faison, Judah Miller, Ayo Edebiri, Mo Gaffney, Danny Pudi, Mandy Moore, Ian Ziering and Michael Bolton also lend their voices to the project which hits in the Spring.
