Chicago has steadily grown as a popular production destination for film and television, thanks to facilities like Camera Ambassador, located off Western Avenue, south of Ogden Avenue in the Douglass Park neighborhood. Camera Ambassador, Chicago’s premier camera rental house and production resource hub, announces an exciting two-day event featuring the Camera Ambassador & Friends Lab during Filmscape (June 21-22) and a grand opening celebration of its new location at CineCity Studios.
The Camera Ambassador & Friends Lab transforms the traditional vendor experience into an immersive, hands-on demonstration space. Industry leaders will showcase their latest innovations:
MYT Works will demonstrate their state-of-the-art prep bays, featuring four 25-foot Opti-Glide Camera Glider systems designed to revolutionize camera and lens checkout processes
Band Pro will showcase the latest Angenieux Ultra compact zooms, EZ series, and Optimo primes, alongside the Sony Venice 2 and Burano cameras
Noisefloor will operate a satellite foley stage where participants can create movie sound effects and explore video podcasting in their custom booth

The grand opening celebration and official Filmscape after-party will take place on Saturday, June 21st, from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Located on Floor 3R at 1414 S Western Ave, the celebration will feature:
